The Robertson-Kirkwood team is led by husband and wife team Kal and Terri, who arrived in Australia in 2008 with a holistic vision to join hair, health and fashion in a non-intimidating and welcoming salon environment. They opened the Robertson Kirkwood Rozelle salon, followed shortly by the Warringah Mall location in David Jones, and are proud to be an Aveda exclusive salon group. Kal and Terri have carefully built a handpicked team of experts who are renowned for their technical expertise and down-to-earth, yet professional know how.

Kal and Terri’s hairdressing journey spans 28 years, each boasting an impressive career that’s seen them lead five salons and 125 staff for one of the UK’s leading salons, through to working for some of the biggest hair and fashion brands in the world, including London and New York Fashion Weeks, the MTV Awards and Harvey Nichols.

Since arriving in Australia, Kal and Terri’s expertise has been in constant demand for major advertising campaigns, glossy magazines and at Australian Fashion Week for the likes of Giorgio Armani, Alex Perry and Witchery.
Hair Experts
Terri is the Creative Hair Director for David Jones, leading a team of Aveda stylists and creating the hair fashion looks for the retail giant’s highly anticipated seasonal launches and international designer shows and looking after their ambassadors Jessica Gomes and Montana Cox. Kal is a precision haircutter and teaches modern barbering internationally, plus tends the tresses of musicians Franz Ferdinand, Flight of the Conchords and James Blake.
